This item is sold in the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Auction Marketplace
Seller Comments: Recently decommissioned BlackMax Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) AM broadcast Station by MH Corbin provides motorists with the most up-to-the-minute travel and weather information by broadcasting audio messages directly to any AM radio in a specified range.
The system consists of an equipment shelf that houses the following modules: Power Supply with analog volt and amperes meters – Model DRPSM1 Interface Module – Model IM-1 DR1500AM Digital Recorder/Player Module (stores and plays audio messages) Digital Communication Controller – Model DCC-1 (used to interface to computer networks) AM Transmitter Module – Model DRTXM4 (tuned to 1640 AM) Optional Weather Receiver – Model DRWX1 (receives National Weather Service transmissions for rebroadcast on the AM transmitter) System control software, module interface cables, antenna, cables, and grounding are not included.
The item is sold strictly As-is, Where is and with all faults. Inspection is the responsibility of the Buyer prior to bidding. No inquiries
